We are seeking a talented individual with proven track record to join our team as the Director of Purchasing/Logistics. The desired candidates will have experience in all aspects of purchasing consumables, software and large capital equipment. Ensuring quality of work and patient centric acumen is a must.


  • Build and manage purchasing program, including strategy and relationship building with vendors of choice
  • Work closely with Quality to ensure vendor compliance
  • Build appropriate logistics relationships within the US and ex-US
  • Work closely with the finance group to ensure purchasing metrics are aligned with activities
  • Actively work with all parts of our business from research to facilities to ensure efficient buying power
  • Ability to roll out FIFO, KANBAN and other phase appropriate programs
  • Keep organization up to date on logistics regulatory requirements


  • BS/BA in finance/accounting, MBA a plus
  • >5 years experience purchasing, >3 logistics
  • Extensive experience in building purchasing policies, vendor performance management and score card systems
  • Experience working in CLIA/CAP/ISO/FDA settings
  • Proven vendor management/audit/SCAR programs
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments with global perspective
  • Risk management and strategic analysis is a must
